I have been dying to see the Aquarium in Salt Lake. This week was our Spring Break. Ben and I still had to work, and we had a lot of things that needed to get done. We decided to use Spring Break as a catch-up time. We still wanted a day of fun, so Tuesday was it! We went to the Aquarium!!! It was such a blast! Here are some pictures of our day in Salt Lake.

Ben with the Otters. They were way funny to watch!
The cute little blow fish. I was really tempted to hit the glass so he would hopefully blow up...but I refrained. (Therefore, I have a picture of a deflated blow fish)
These cute little sea horses were not even the size of my pinky. Way cute!!!

There were 3 different kinds of jelly fish. This on was the Moon Jelly fish. They even had Jelly fish called Upside Down Jelly Fish. Why are they called this? Well, they are UPSIDEDOWN! They even hafe algae growing up from their tentacles! I was amazed!
Ben with a cool lookin' fish.

Me with the Penguins!

This is how I feel about touching Sting Rays.

This fish was about 5 feet long and had way cool designs on him. He lives in the Amazon.

Overall, the Aquarium was not a let down! It was absoultely fantastic! After we spent our time at the aquarium, we headed to The Red Iguana to eat dinner. We had heard that is was a great Mexican place to eat, and it was.

We still had some time, and The Red Iguana was pretty close to Temple Square. We decided to go hang out there for a little while. We went to the North visitor center, went to the Christus, looked at the HUGE map of Jerusalem and then went downstairs to take a look at the cool stuff down there.

Here is Ben with a Book of Mormon in Cebuano. (Ben served his Mission in the Philippines and spoke Cebuano there)

It was a great little vacation. We enjoyed the time together and time away from school and work and everything else that is going on in our lives. It's always great to have a little get away, and this was ours. :)
