The Christmas Midnight Mass Ceremony 2011
Avoiding jeans and digging out our best outfits, we promptly dressed and rushed to the church between periodic restless screams from Samara, confusing highway routes and calls to and from Shri and Carol. After luckily spotting them at the signal crossing, we met up with the eager couple at the front entrance of the church and attended the Midnight Mass together. Before today I never realized how tall and towering Shri is and the significant height difference between them both. I handed over our irritated daughter (who apparently hates tight spaces) to her father and squeezed through crowds for Communion after which we quickly exited the church, avoiding the oncoming crowds. I wanted to enter church and meet baby Jesus and also take a picture of Samara in Jesus crib within the manger but the rush wouldn’t allow it. Walking back to our cars, we wished each other and our dear friends a very merry Christmas and chit chat over our dramatic married lives and social affairs while Sam enjoyed the airy breeze in her pram.

Clad in her second best outfit which was a beige dress picked lovingly by her pops, a white oversized sweater (Nothing compared to the snug wear from London but still a good bargain from Babyshop), white stockings and a beige woolen hat, she looked like an angel. Her father wore his Gray suit and I wore my new leather boots and snake skin skirt with leggings and a snug top.
After promising to meet up soon, we grabbed some burgers and headed home.
