... Moving home has never been an easy task and abandoning the plastered wall decals which made up Sams nursery was a sad affair, we didn't have heart to remove any sticker, Donkey, Piglet, Tigi and Winnie the Pooh remained stuck to wall and I shed silent, heart breaking tears as the remainder of the nursery went into bags, boxes and cardboard cartons.
The cats are going to hate the shifting but the new home is big and breezy with a balcony for a change, we can dance the lambada in the bathroom and throw drunk buddies under the shower in the guest bathroom....lol....
The room has angled walls and is designed awkwardly, it needs some serious planning. The bar is already set and i think that our bar stools will finally be of some use.
Bitching time on Why I shifted from JLT to International City: The past two days, we finalized the house and were lucky to get a bigger flat for less bucks, partly due to overlooking by the Real Estate management.
After signing the housing contract a treat of Carrot Cake, American Coffee and Latte followed at Costa coffee in Green Village, Emaar Business Park. Our house hunting left us with lots of pick me up meals but were difficult to savor upon and had to be quickly washed down with water since everytime we sat for dinner or lunch, Samara threw tantrums, screamed and cried to be carried.
Her papa says, 'What a Mess!' and I say, 'Fuss Pots acting up again! '
